It’s been a good thre years but fans of the first season of Japanese fantasy anime Grimgar of Fantasy và Ash have been eagerly anticipating/awaiting for the arrival of a follow-up season ever since.

It is known to lớn Japanese audiences as ‘Hai to lớn Genso no Gurimugaru’ và is based on the light novel series written by Ao Jumonji & illustrated by Eiri Shirai.

Renowned studio A-1 Pictures did the animation for the TV series. The manga series, on the other hand, is written by Mutsumi Okubashi & published by Square Enix.

The series was renowned for its engaging và emotional storytelling as well as its elaborate character development from the first episode khổng lồ the last. This, coupled with the stellar soundtracks made by (K)NoW_NAME, made the series even more revered.

The story of Grimgar of Fantasy & Ash focuses on a group of rookie adventurers who suddenly get transported into a strange, RPG-like world, having no recollection of their memories, save for their names.

With that in mind, the group seemed entirely out of their element when battling goblins in a forest & has no other choice but khổng lồ run away. The group must fight khổng lồ persevere in this world by finding work to earn their meals và develop as warriors, along with finding out why they were sent khổng lồ this unknown world.

Slowly, as the series progresses, we get various flashbacks of cellphones, airplanes, & other things that suggest the group may have been transported from the modern world. & just like a typical RPG, the group must choose their desired classes, join guilds, defeat a myriad of enemies and monsters lớn build up experience or XP, & earn gold.

Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash Characters (Spoilers!)

Manato

Manato

Manato was a priest who was also the leader to lớn the group of young adventurers khổng lồ come khổng lồ this series’ mysterious new and unfamiliar world. In his role, Manato was a formidable fighter who is considered to lớn be a defensive tank và became the leader upon bringing every tiệc nhỏ member together. However, he was killed rather earlier in the series in an ambush by a group of goblins. After that, Haruhiro took over as a leader for the group.

He wasn’t especially powerful at the start of the series but finally covers that gap upon becoming the new leader by learning new skills, turning him into a strong và dependable warrior.

Yume is the cheery và friendly hunter of the group with quite a sharp memory. She’s a capable hunter when armed with a dagger và a bow, but when it concerns combat, she’s not very skilled with her bow. Shihoru is a petite young girl who is rather shy và socially awkward around other people. But as the mage of the group, Shihoru is a highly crucial character. & when it comes to lớn combat, she’s a force lớn be reckoned with, especially with her powerful spells and abilities. The only thing she lacks is defensive skills, which is supplemented by her teammates, who distract enemies for her while she charges her spells và abilities.

Moguzo

Moguzo

The tank of the group. Don’t let his appearance deceive you, Moguzo is the strongest warrior of the buổi tiệc nhỏ in terms of physical strength. He wields a giant sword and is covered almost entirely with armor. Season 2 Release Date

As of now, there hasn’t been a peep or two of a potential season 2 for Grimgar Of Fantasy and Ash.
